Development for Law Firm

Hi

We are currently developing a system for a law firm who are very keen to outsource the mail sending process. Can you give me some pointers on the following please?

1. What are the maximum number of sheets you'd recommend for each envelope size?

2. Are there any volume constraints we should be aware of in terms of number of items per month (initially I'd anticipate 1,000-5,000 items a month as there'll only be one department using the service but would anticipate this increasing considerably if all went well).

3. For their own paper trail I think they'll want something in writing to cover confidentiality purely for their own paper trail would this be possible?

Many thanks

Steve

Hi there,

Sorry for the delay in responding.

I am not familiar with WHMCS. What platform is this based on Java, PHP, ASP, .NET?

If there is demand we could probably look into creating a plugin for you.

Regards,

Rob

-------------Original Message----------------
In a previous message on [21/03/2008 13:18:38] Megadeal Hosting said:
Is there anything available working for the WHMCS system?

Carl.

PC2Paper XMLRPC API V2

We are currently working on documenting the new XMLRPC API V2.0.

The new API has a whole set of new features which supports almost every letter writing feature you can do through the website.

The first application developed on the new API is the PC2Paper Printer which uses XMLRPC calls. Here is a list of the following features supported:

* Price lookup engine (this has been the hardest to document)
* Selection of printing station
* Selection of Paper and stationery offered by a printing station
* The cost of sending a letter via a particular printing station
* The printing stations that can send letters to a particular country.

Hopefully I should have enough information put together for a blog article. I will post here once I have all in place.

Rob
Hi Paul,

What language does one need to know to create modules for Joomla?

At the moment we have an API that can be contected to over XMLRPC which can be used by most languages.

Regards,

Rob
-------------Original Message----------------
In a previous message on [04/03/2008 23:22:49] Paul Ingham said:
anything for joomla? module plugin?

RE:Perform Price Enquiry only?

Hi Russell,

We do have a new interface for pricing a letter however this interface has not yet been documented or exposed for public use.

I can inform you when this has been done. At the moment we are currently updating our API interfaces to incorporate all of our new printing options.

Regards,

Rob

-------------Original Message----------------
In a previous message on [05/02/2008 14:07:52] Russell Hutson said:
Hi

With the XML API, is it possible to perform a price enquiry first, prior to actually sending?
I'm proposing the following process

1. User composes letter
2. Price enquiry performed via API
3. User asked if price is acceptable
4.

Hello Russell,

If you use our FPI interface instead you can send formatted HTML or plain text. There is no need to include the body tags only basic formating tags. Let me know if you need access to a test account to try out the interface.

Regards,

Rob

-------------Original Message----------------
In a previous message on [05/02/2008 14:10:51] Russell Hutson said:
Hi

In the readme.txt you say:

PC2PaperRemoteConnect.PathToLetterFile = "C:\My Documents\Projects\proj\pdf_bill.pdf"

Implying we have to provide a PDF.

Are we able to send just plain text.
RE:Sample API implementation in Perl or PHP

Hi Frank,

Sorry for the delay in responding to your message. This area of the site got a bit forgotten over Christmas.

We do not have sample PHP or Pearl code. However the same type of code used for services such as PayPal for payment verficiation should work in exactly the same way. What to include in the post is provided in our API documentation. A sample HTML example of what it does it also provided so you can test the theory of it.

If you need any help with your code please let me know. My PHP isn't wonderful but I will do my best to help.

Regards,

Rob

-------------Original Message----------------
In a previous message on [19/12/2007 02:23:28] Frank Michlick said:
Hi,

I just came across your service from a Google search, which lead me to Google Answers and in turn to your site. I'll be doing some testing of your service shortly.

My reason for posting here is that I was wondering if you would possibly have any sample code in perl or PHP for accessing your xmlrpc API?

Thanks for your help,
/FM

Welcome to the PC2Paper Developer area.

Since we have had a lot of interest in our API interface we decided to put this area together to help you find and use our APIs in your applications.

We look forward to helping developers with any issues they might have and to learn from you on how you would like us to integrate with your systems.
